3CAD Next allows you to customize room flooring in the planner after it has been created or inserted. You can adjust the floor shape, define variants such as material or finish, or remove the floor entirely.

Prerequisite: A floor must already be present in the room. To create one, see Insert flooring in the planner.
Customize the flooring
Adjust the flooring shape
- Select the flooring.
- Click one of the anchor points (circular handles at each corner of the floor).
- Drag the anchor to adjust the shape.
- Release the mouse button to apply the change.
- To refine the shape, click a + icon along the perimeter to add new anchor points.
- Continue adjusting anchors as required.
- Click Projects, then Save Project.
Note: Flooring shape is independent from walls and ceiling. Each element must be adjusted separately.
Set the floor variants
- Select the flooring.
- Click the Catalog button to open the Library.
- Click Variants.
- Select the required variant values (for example, material or finish).
- Click Projects, then Save Project.
Note: This action is available in both 2D and 3D views.
Delete the floor
- Select the flooring.
- Press
Deleteon your keyboard.
- Click Projects, then Save Project.
