3CAD Next offers the possibility to configure customized rooms by drawing them in the planner.
To configure a custom room for a new project, do the following:

Enter 3CAD Next and log in.

Choose the appropriate shop (if your user is linked to more than one shop).

Click on New Project.

Choose a customer to assign the project to, or create one, or press Skip.

Click on the button Create From 2D View.

Select the correct catalog by clicking on it.
Note: This step does not apply if users have access to only one catalog.

Select the correct commercial model or technical model by clicking on it.
Note: This step may vary depending on users' specific front-end configuration.

Define the header variants, if any exist for the specific commercial or technical model selected.
Note: Header variants are variants that are preselected before starting the configuration. All the articles in the planner will have those variants as default.

Press the PLANNER button. You are now redirected to the 2D planner.

Click on the Configure button on the left-hand side of the window to open the Library.
-
Select the Walls tab and click on a Free Wall picture (both standard and glass walls are available).

Move the cursor to the planner, the wall portion sticks to the cursor. Start drawing the wall by clicking on the initial point, dragging the cursor, and clicking again on the ending point of the wall. The wall's length is always displayed. When completed, the wall turns gray.

Users can now start drawing a second wall. By default, the configurator positions the starting point of the second wall where the first one ends. To start the second wall from another point, press
Esc, then repeat from points 11 and 12 until all the walls are in place. PressEscto stop adding walls.

Click on Projects in the top bar, and then Save Project to save the composition.
Note: To view a wall in 3D, users can freely move between 2D and 3D visualizations by clicking on the 2D - 3D switch under the upper bar. Wall configuration is only possible in 2D visualization, except for material and color settings.
At this stage, users can further edit and customize walls according to their needs, applying the changes illustrated in the following paragraphs.
Adjust walls and corners

Click on the wall to adjust.

Click on one of the the anchor points (circles with four internal arrows) located at each end of the wall.

Drag it while holding down.
-
Release it when in the correct position. The angles' size is always displayed.
- Click on Projects in the top bar, and then Save Project to save the composition.
Change the angle of a wall

Click on one of the two walls that form the angle.
-
Click on the curved line that indicates the angle. It turns light blue.
-
In the modal Edit angle that appears, set the Angle and Diagonal values.
Note: Previous wall refers to the wall to the left of the angle, and Next wall refers to the wall to the right of the angle.

Press
Enteror click on the X. The changes apply to the angle.
- Click on Projects in the top bar, and then Save Project to save the composition.
Note: Setting walls' lengths and angles is independent of setting the floor or ceiling areas and shapes. All these elements need to be adjusted separately.
Change the wall's material and color

Click on the wall.
- Click on the Configure button on the left-hand side of the window to open the Library.
- Click on Variants

Set the wall's material and color.
-
Click on Projects in the top bar, and then Save Project to save the composition.
Note: This action can be performed both from 2D and 3D visualization.
Delete a wall

Click on the wall.

Press
Delete.
- Click on Projects in the top bar, and then Save Project to save the composition.
