3CAD Next offers a set of predefined room types that cover the most common room layouts, including:
- Rectangular
- Open room
- Indented (NSWE)
- With diagonal wall (NSWE)
Create and configure a standard room
To configure a standard room for a new project:
- Log in to 3CAD Next.
- If your user is linked to multiple shops, select the appropriate one.
- Click New Project.
Choose one of the following:
- Select an existing customer
- Create a new customer
- Click Skip
- In the room gallery, select the desired room shape.
- Set the wall lengths and height.
- Click Start Project.
- Select the correct catalog.
Note: This step does not apply if only one catalog is available.
- Select the appropriate commercial model or technical model.
Note: This step may vary depending on the front-end configuration.
- Define the header variants, if available.
Note: Header variants are preselected options applied before starting the configuration.
These settings act as default values for all items in the planner.
- Click Planner to open the 3D workspace, where the selected room is loaded.
To save the project:
- Click Projects in the top bar
- Select Save Project
