The 3CAD Next planner offers the possibility to group articles. Articles of a group can be repositioned as a whole, and groups are preserved also when switching between 2D and 3D views, or when disabling the Multiselection tool. Multiple groups can coexist, and one group can become part of a larger group.
To group articles, do the following:
- Click on Tools, then Functionality, and finally Enable/Disable Multiselection in the top bar.
- Select the articles to group in the planner. You can either select all articles in sequence or draw a box that includes the articles while holding down the
shiftkey.
Click on Tools, then Grouping, then Create group in the top bar. The group is now created.
To ungroup articles, do the following:
- Select the grouped articles in the planner.
Click on Tools, then Grouping, then Remove group in the top bar. Articles are instantly ungrouped.
Note: Groups can be created and removed both in the 2D and the 3D views.
