The Limit Simulator of the Supervisor is a powerful tool to control variants' limits. Both when creating new variant limits and for existing ones, it is helpful to easily verify the impacts of the limits created on a specific date, article, and commercial model.
To learn more about limiting variants, see article Restrictions on variants (Limiting variants).
To simulate a variant limit, do as follows:
-
Enter the Supervisor (in the correct environment).
-
If more than one catalog has been created in the Supervisor, select the right one at the top of the Catalog area.
-
Click on Limits Simulator, in the Catalog area of the dashboard to enter the section.
-
Select the Variant you want to check the existing limits for.
-
Set the Date on which you want to check the limits.
-
Select the Article you want to check the existing limits for.
-
Select the Commercial model you want to check the existing limits for.
-
(OPTIONAL) Type additional Variants that might affect the variant's limits set at point 4.
-
