In the Limiting Variants section, variants' filters created in the Group of Variants section can be activated when triggered by specific conditions. One of these conditions is the selection of specific items (neuter articles).
For a more detailed explanation of this section and other triggering conditions, see the article Restrictions on variants (limiting variants).
Create limits on items

-
Click on Limiting Variants, in the Catalog area of the dashboard. The list of Limits on Items is displayed by default.
-

Description: Free field. It is suggested that you use this field to explain why you are creating the limit.
-
Comments: Free field.
-
Authorizations: Define the limits's visibility to Users, Shops, Countries, User groups, and Brands.
Note: Multiple authorizations can be granted simultaneously. For example, it is possible to authorize multiple users, shops, countries, etc., to the same commercial model, also combining different criteria at the same time. Therefore, authorization to model X can be granted to users X, Y, and Z, to all users belonging to shops 1 and 2, and to all users having access to brands 123 and 321 (authorization criteria are cumulative with each other). -
Item: Select the neuter article that triggers limiting variants.
-
Add group of variants: Select the variants' filter (group of variants) that activates with the selected neuter article.
-
-
Press the + button to add it. Repeat for other groups of variants if necessary.
-
