Multi‑selection allows you to select and move multiple articles at the same time, making it easier to reposition groups of elements during design.
When multi‑selection is enabled, you can select articles individually or as a group and move them together until the selection is cleared.
This feature works in both 2D and 3D views, provided the required tools are enabled.
How it works
Enable multi‑selection
You can enable or disable multi‑selection in one of the following ways:
- Press CTRL + M on your keyboard, or
- Toggle the multi‑selection option from the toolbar
- Toggle the multi‑selection option from the Tools menu in the topbar
When multi‑selection is enabled:
- You can select articles one by one, or
- You can draw a selection box around multiple articles while holding SHIFT
Note! Multi‑selection in the 3D view works only if the Move 3D button is enabled.
Managing the selection
Once multiple articles are selected:
- You can deselect a single article by clicking on it again.
- To deactivate the entire selection, exit multi‑selection mode or click on a room element, such as a wall or floor.
Moving selected articles
To move the selected group:
- Use the gray move handle with arrows that appears on the selection.
- Drag the handle to move all selected articles together as a group.
