The 3CAD Next planner toolbar located on the right-hand side of the planner holds commonly used tools. The tools are specific to the 2D or the 3D views, therefore the bar is dynamic and changes when switching from one view to the other.
Note: Additional tools can be found in the top bar menu (see Tools and settings: the 3CAD Next top bar article).
All the tools of both bars are illustrated below.
The 2D right-hand side toolbar

Layers This 2D tool allows you to independently manage specific "layers" (or types) of elements. These include Element layers and Measurement Layers.
For each of them, you can decide whether:

Or, you can use the general toggle to hide or show all measurement lines at once.

Divider This button opens the Divider maker. The Divider is a 3CAD Next component that provides a simple and flexible way to create clear separations within an object, enabling more customizable designs. Note: This button is visible only when dividers are properly configured within the LayEdit rule. See the article Using the divider component for more details.

Zoom all With one click, you center your scene and reset it to full screen.
|
|
Magic links Magic links manage article positioning beyond the standard positioning. They allow to override the standard alignment directions defined in the catalog. Example: MagicLinks are useful for corner base cabinets that require customized links to the adjacent article. Note: This tool is common to both 3D and 2D views and is enabled by default.

|
Multiselect It allows you to select multiple articles simultaneously. When enabled you can either select all articles in sequence or draw a box that includes the articles while holding down the shift key. Selected articles can be moved together as a group until you unselect them. Note: The multiselection in the 3D view works only if the Move 3D button is enabled. Grouping It offers the possibility to group articles. Articles of a group can be repositioned as a whole, and groups are also preserved when switching between 2D and 3D views, or when disabling the Multiselection tool. Multiple groups can coexist, and one group can become part of a larger group.

Function Multiple functional tools are collected within the function submenu:

Mapping This tool allows you to upload images, for example, planimetries, to position under the articles. When clicking on the tool, it is possible to complete 3 actions:

Delete item It allows you to delete the selected items.
|
|
|
Undo You undo the last action.
|
|
|
Redo You redo the undone action.

The 3D toolbar consists of the tools illustrated in the following paragraphs.

Layers The Layers tool lets you control the visibility of components and walls in your 3D workspace. With just a click, you can choose to show or hide different parts of your design, making it easy to focus on what matters most. Components visibility allow to view or hide:

Move 3D It allows you to switch from selecting the entire scene to selecting a single article or group of articles.

Substitute item It allows you to substitute a new article to an article already positioned in the scene, instead of inserting it in the composition as an additional one. To substitute an article:

Play movements It activates the articles' movements (for example the opening and closing of a front panel) whenever they were defined in the graphic rules.

Delete It deletes the selected item.

Undo You undo the last action.
